Who are the 5th North Devon Scout Group?
According to records held at Gilwell, we officially started on 5th November 1971.
We operate from our Scout HQ situated at the base of Codden Hill in Bishops Tawton and draw young people from Landkey, Swimbridge, Newport, Whiddon Valley, Bishops Tawton, Bratton Fleming and the surrounding areas.
How to find us:
Take the A377 New Road through Bishops Tawton. As you get to the end of the village you will see Bishops Tawton Service Station on the right hand side. Take the left turn directly opposite the Service Station. You will see an immediate left turn which is a rough track.
Our Scout HQ is up this rough track on the right hand side.
